Training programme on Bamboo Handicraft & Furniture making

Cane and Bamboo Technology Centre (CBTC) , Burnihat, Assam had organized and conducted Training programme on Bamboo Handicraft & Furniture making from 27th November to 6th November, 2016 and two day seminar
on 3rd & 4th December, 2016 at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Piprakothi, Motihari, Bihar under the National Agroforestry and Bamboo Mission (NABM/NBM).
The Hon’ble Minister of Agriculture & Farmer welfare, Shri Radha Mohan Singh had visited the training programme
on 3rd December,2016 where the participants and local leaders of the area had expressed the need to have a CFC
cum Training centre to the Hon’ble Minister.
Around 300 participants attended in two days seminar where 20 artisans participated in 10 days workshop from various place of East Champaran, Motihari, Bihar

During the training programme one complete bamboo sofa set, one bamboo bed and various handicraft items were made.

Hon'ble local MLA Mr. Syambabu Yadav from Piprakothi, Mr. Sachinder Prasad from kalyanpur and Mr. Promod kumar from Mothihari were attened as a Guest and Mr. Bablu Gupta,MLC, Motihar was also presnt during two days seminar.
