One training on "Bamboo Handicraft & Technology" has been organized by Cane and Bamboo Technology Centre (CBTC),in its own campus at Burnihat from 27th July to 16th September,2016
Total number of 20 candidates from all NE States have participated.The entire training programme was sponsored by North Eastern Council (NEC),Shilong, Under Ministry of DoNER, Gov of India,
The participants were taught how to make various kind of furniture like Round Bamboo Furniture, Bamboo Moulded Furniture, various Handicraft items and also operation of Bamboo Processing Machine
